I would never stay here again. notthing like paying 200$ for a room somewhere and then being kicked out at 1 in the morning for no reason givin. if you are trying to havr fun stay somewhere else this place is stuck up and talk down to you.
The staff was very rude. we came to visit from Alaska and met up with some friends. The front desk was very rude to them . we told them they were just visiting. an hour later they told us we had to leave at 1 in the morning. we were not even being loud or told why. we even had a sun deck room. I woulld never pay these prices to be treated like this. they should hire people with customer service experience. dont stay here

We arrived at 3:30PM on Sunday, October 21, 2018. The clerk, William Just, allowed us to check in as most hotels do when they knowingly have rooms available, even though their check in isn't until 4PM. We were charged in full "to avoid having to deal with being charged later" and then informed that they were running behind getting rooms ready and that we should leave and they would call us when our room was ready. I have stayed at the Bienville House 3 times now. for the most part, it has been perfect. On my recent stay, however, the hotel accidentally charged 2 different credit cards for our entire 5 night stay. A $1,600 + overcharge (at check in) which we were unable to get reversed until after we returned home. The front desk did try to help and was very kind, but they said there was nothing they could do, although it was an error on the night clerk's part. Beautiful, comfortable authentic hotel.
Absolutely loved it. Great place to stay. It made my visit back home so much sweeter.. hope to be back very very soon if we can afford it...
