Mr. Beven~THANK YOU, does not explain how grateful I am for your assistance. I recently I had an issue and Mr. Beven contacted me via email while out of the country. He then assisted me while out of the country and kept me informed of his return to meet in person. I felt so heard and blessed that Mr. Beven would take time for me during his travels. I don't know why Beven & Brock has such an awful rating. I lived in an apartment managed by Angie for 3+ years, and she was amazingly attentive without being overbearing. When I felt unsafe, she had cameras installed immediately. She answered emails promptly. We seldom had issues with maintenance but when we did, they were dealt with quickly. Upon moving out, she was not only fair, she was honest and helpful. She took the time to meet with us and gave us advice on how to get more of our security deposit back. Maybe we were l... read more
I've been a customer with Beven & Brock for many years and never had an issues with their service. I noticed that many of the low ratings came from tenants. This might be because B & B holds the tenants responsible to uphold their end of the contract. They will quickly correct any shortfall that a tenant may have and hold them accountable for any breach of contract. Conversely, if the landlord is not responsive to the tenants needs, B&B will always fight on their behalf to ensure that the are receiving prompt attention. They... read more
I'm not sure why Beven and Brock are getting poor reviews here. I've been renting from Beven and Brock for 1 year and have had a great experience. The rent price is amazing for the location I'm in. Its probably $400 less than other similar units on the market in the neighborhood. Maintenance requests have also been dealt with very quickly. I'm probably going to be looking for a larger place in the next few months, and am planning on working with Beven and Brock again.
When we wanted to rent with B&B I saw all the bad reviews and got really scared. I was just literally waiting for them to screw up But It's been 3 and half months and they haven't (hopefully they won't). First, they don't take your $ for credit check and all except you are getting the house! Angie is our Manager but I don't speak to her often. I lived in a building managed by Angie for 2.5 years and couldn't have been happier. She was attentive, quick and always upfront with me. The building itself was on the older side, so over the course of my time there I needed repairs and replacements, which always happened right away and the requests were never challenged. On Wednesday, I came home from work in the early evening to discover that the water heater in our garage had broken and was leaking. I called the Beven and Brock emergency number, and was immediately connected to Doug. Doug arrived at the property in twenty minutes, and immediately stopped the leak (the next day we had our regular plumber replace the water heater).
