I rented B&B's property in South Pasadena. It's in a great location, close to groceries, gas, restaurants, public transport etc. No roach or pest issues. Decent value for your money.

Overall, I did experience a few communication hiccups with the staff, but the business owners are very willing to improve or explain circumstances, and I highly recommend contacting Beven and Brock employee Andy if you have a question- I am obnoxious, but he was always responsive and answered my questions to my satisfaction.

Fin Beven contacted me directly and apologized for the utility confusion. He went out of his way to make sure the problem had been resolved and even offered to pay our electricity for the next 6 months! He has proven himself to be very helpful and will do what he can to resolve any issues you have.

My experience with them has been a dream (a good one). I'm a grad student, living with two other grad students, and we essentially make peanuts for a living. We wanted to find a place that was affordable, comfortable, and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. What we got was all of the above and more. Our property manager is Angie and she has been very helpful and responsive for the year and a half that we've lived in our place. These guys are really attentive and I read a review below about a renter with AC problems and management having someone out immediately and having a portable unit installed in the interim. Wish I was that lucky given these temperatures. Emailed a request for an AC outage Monday and got a call Tuesday from the 3rd party company they use saying it wouldn't be until 7/18..... 10 days for service. Air Conditioner issue.......I rent an apartment in the area and this week at its hottest our AC went out. I sent the management a email regarding the issue and a work order request thru the website. The next business day the AC repair company was out and confirmed a new unit was needed. Meanwhile since the AC unit will take several days for install and its 100 in the apt and it's 111 outside, BEVIN and BROCK went out and bought a huge PORTABLE AC UNIT and set it up in my apartment till the new one arrives.
