do not stay here. you cannot watch your minor children in the pool unless the front desk gives you enough wristbands. FYI, you only get four. so if you have 3 children your SOL. if you would like to have a beer in a bottle on the carpet NOT on the swimming floor, your SOL. oh and don't forget the methed out rent a cop who has a non working walkie talkie and no gun or taser to kick you out for watching your 2 year old not drown...even if your watching from a table, not in the water. Walking in to the lobby was like walking in to a million dollar mention, then you get to your room it's like a twilight zone. Outdated need repairs, no central air only a very noisy wall unit. No fan in the shower and musty smelling . 1st floor rooms felt dark and not clean. Also the receptionist very unfriendly and not helpful at all, to the point where she was rude. I paid $50 dog fee and when she handed me the keys she said absolutely no pets in the lobby. Would never stay there again.
If you want to stay someplace where the front desk person belittles you, this is the place for you. I made a reservation here when my power went out, as I’ve done for the past 5 years of living in Freeport. I’ve never had a problem before last night. I went to check in, the front desk only had a sign on it to go to room 102. Ok, I go off to find room 102 to check in.
