We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely house. City center parks and playgrounds in walking distance in a very family friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed having the nice shops and restaurants on Bishy Road close by. The house itself was equipped with everything we needed and was one of the most stylish yet cosy holiday homes we've seen in a long time.
Well-kept and cozy home in an absolutely fantastic location. Clear communication with a friendly host. Would definitely recommend!
Thankyou to Kate and family for a very pleasant stay in York. The property was in a very good position for walking into York or walking through Roundtree park along the river bank into York. Whilst sitting in the courtyard enjoying a relaxing coffee in the morning it was peaceful and quiet. Very clean and tidy property with all amenities, plus welcome goodies. We took advantage of the rail system which is only a 10 minute walk to the rail station to visit Harrogate and Knaresborough. (£14 return, 2 adults plus dogs). Lots of... read more
A lovely, home from home holiday stay. Really comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Love the area too, Bishy Road has good shopping and eating out. Also, easy access to the Solar system bike ride, we all had a great time.
had a great stay at Alma york, it is a beautiful house with literally everything you need for a comfortable stay. the kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the bathroom is modern. the house was super clean, beds were really comfortable and the back yard is lovely on nice weather days. the location is ideal its a short walk to the city centre but the walk itself is lovely by the river.
