We had free tickets as we are members at Spetchley Gardens. V good.
Really enjoyed this visit October 2024. At the beginning of this review, considering where it is going, I think it is important to recognize that the Castle operates as a charitable organization but above all is still a family home. As such I wholeheartedly agree with the position that the family have every right to choose the way their home the Castle and it's treasures are shared with the public. Really enjoyed our first visit - a very interesting castle with nice grounds, and the Halloween decorations and activities were a nice touch. Apart from the face painting which we paid extra for, this was all part of the normal entry fee and our ticket was a one year pass. We'll definitely be back!
