Day 1 post Carpal Tunnel release. More than a decade ago, I had carpal tunnel release performed by a different surgeon and had a challenging recovery. My journey with Dr. Amis and his team has been wholly different. Dr. Amis collaborated with me, as we tried less invasive interventions. Though beneficial , eventually surgery was the final option as I began to experience dwindling benefits from other strategies. The surgery lasted less than 20 minutes. Friendly and efficient staff. Dr. Amis is engaging, listens, attentive, provides options and engages in a patient provider driven plan of care. Though a surgeon, his recommendations also include more conservative modalities which thus far have been of benefit.

Completely satisfying visit. Dr. Amis made my broken bone in dominant right hand a much more simple and manageable issue than I could have hoped for. Great demeanor and communicator. A-plus experience.

Dr. Amis is wonderful. He is extremely thoughtful and compassionate. I am scheduling my second knuckle surgery with him. He removed all pain with the first surgery. I will continue to put my hands in his care.

Dr. Amis was extremely personable, professional, and proficient. I was impressed that he took the time to explain options, his thinking on the situation, and his recommendation of doing the least invasive procedure likely to produce a good outcome (which it did.)

Dr Amis is a kind person who treats his patients with respect, while diagnosing with point-on questions about symptoms and progression of the problem. He is thorough in his explanations and options. His wonderful technician was able to x-ray my wrist so a fracture was found that a prior Urgent Care visit and x-ray did not.
