Dr. Amis is personable, caring, very knowledgeable and one of the BEST doctors I have ever visited. The guy just looked at it and gave an accurate assessment and a few options for treatment. The treatment was easy and worked! Absolutely a great experience, that is crucial when you are injured. Great job! Also the staff is amazing and kind, too!!

Dr. Amis saw me for forearm injury to muscle. He listened patiently and carefully to how heavier than usual weight bearing sports activity caused sharp pain. He examined areas of soreness and quickly diagnosed the probability of muscle tears, saying they would likely heal within a month. He proscribed a free online PT source, and provided a PT referral.Dr. Amis’ careful listening and reasoned explanation put my mind at ease, helping me to take the next step once the tears heal; begin gradual arm strengthening exercises. I wo... read more

Other than being top-notch in his field and an expert in total care, what impresses me most about Dr. Amis is the time he takes with his patients to understand their concerns, offer guidance and solutions, and exude genuine care for them and their situation. He never appears to be “rushing” through the appointment and takes the time you need to feel comfortable. I just had bilateral carpel tunnel surgery under his guidance and felt completely at ease through the whole process. His staff is also very efficient and friendly. H... read more

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Amis taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options.

Dr. Amis was fantastic! He gave me several options for straightening my fingers from Dupytrens Disease (hereditary curling of the fingers toward the palm). He performed an Apindctomy on my right hand in his office with a local anesthetic, and it healed quickly with no Physical Therapy. A few weeks later he performed surgery on my left hand that was much more curled than my right, and my fingers are very straight with very little pain. His office staff and the staff at Pinnacle Surgery Center are professional, caring and cour... read more

I highly recommend Dr Amis. He is knowledgeable, personable, caring, and he listens. I don’t feel rushed! I don’t see him looking at his watch. Dr Amis did surgery on my R shoulder for a complete full thickness rotator cuff tear. My surgery was July 7, 2022. A few months ago I started to experience some moderate pain in my R shoulder. I saw him yesterday. An MRI is being ordered. We will know more after he sees what’s what with my shoulder! He also is ordering more physical therapy. And he discussed steroid injections if/as ... read more

Dr. Amis was immediately helpful and caring. His staff was extremely attentive. Amis showed me my x-rays that revealed multiple breaks making my hand 27 degrees off axis. The hospital ER twice declined to show me my x-rays and wanted to know why I wanted to see a hand surgeon. I am so glad I found the VERY PROFESSIONAL Dr. Amis and staff.
