Dr. Amis is very knowledgeable and competent about the hand and it’s problems. My surgery could not have gone better. He and all staff at the office and surgery center made all the preparations so easy that I didn’t have anything to feel any anxiety about,as one usually does prior to surgery. He has been helping me with my hand for several years and when he suggested surgery as one of my options I trusted his advice and I’m so glad I did!
He is the best, he listens and helps
Dr. Amis was highly recommended for my rotator cuff repair. He exhibited excellent communication skills listening to my concerns as he explained the diagnosis and surgical options during consultation. Office support staff was efficient in contributing to seamless scheduling, which was helpful with my living out of state. I saw Dr Benjamin Amis 10/30/23. It now been 2 1/2 years since my corporal tunnel surgery. Dr Amis sent me home with a prescription for one tablet of hydrocodone. Not a bottle just one tablet. I had pain that became worse day-by-day. Very excruciating for over 7 months. I called him countless times for some sort of relief. Getting ahold of him was difficult and he did nothing for me. The whole team at ATX Orthopedic has been friendly and easy to work with. Dr Amis in particular has been pleasant, and he’s listened to my needs and responded accordingly. I’d recommend him to anyone who needs treatment for trigger finger treatment or carpel tunnel surgery.
I come from Bastrop to see Dr Amis. He's really nice, knowledgeable, and explains everything thoroughly. My entire family sees him. Well worth the drive.

ATX Orthopedics, Dr Benjamin Amis, has been a great find. His office is easy to schedule with. Dr Amis takes time to answer and explain all the questions that I had for the best way to surgically repair my wrist. I highly recommend his practice.
