Dr. Amis is very pleasant and an excellent surgeon. He listened to the problems I was having with my hand. My surgery has been successful and my hand is healing well. I am very pleased with the whole experience and recommend him as a hand surgeon
As an 82-year-old retired physician, I have been quite disappointed with 21st-century medicine.It seems that I am not really a patient but a numer, means to an end.With Dr. Amis, it is different; it is personal, and besides his empathy and genuine care, he is a very knowledgeable practitioner with great post op care.It is a mistake for MD's to get involved with patients emotionally, but it is also bad when the Dr. does not show any compassion to the patient. Dr. Amis is a knowledgeable doctor and a skilled surgeon!He advised me of different options to get relief from some very bad osteoarthritis in my knucles. He suggested an arthroplasty or joint implant. I am now 2 months post op and I feel like it has been a great success. Thank you Dr. Amis!
