Dr. Amis has great bedside manners, a knowledgeable and courteous office staff, a convenient location and is usually on time when I visited him. I highly recommend him if you need a surgeon with his skills.

Dr. Amis is wonderful. He was kind, proffesional and very patient with my many questions prior to removing my extremely painful left hand arthritis. I recommend him highly as he is a superior physician who truly cares for his patient

Dr. Amis is by far the type of doctor that everyone looks for. He is extremely professional, has a tremendous personality, caring, explains in great details, lets you speak up and ask questions without getting upset and is always accommodating. Dr. Amis performed the surgery using the new technology called Sonex which was less invasive and had a much faster recovery time. He was extremely helpful and professional explaining the procedure. He also put my mind at ease with regard to having the surgery while I was awake. I would highly recommend Dr. Amis and the use of this new technology for carpal tunnel surgery.

I had the best experience having surgery with Dr Amis. I was well informed and well taken care of during my stay. Dr Amis’ staff were top notch. Thank you to Dr Amis, Sue, Tessa, Rachel and Ally.

Dr. Amis is easy to talk to. He spends all the time you need to be made aware of your treatment and made comfortable. I was treated for a trigger finger, this was my second visit, and I was told in my first visit A second may be necessary. Good doctors are hard to find and I am blessed to have found the best hand doctor in Austin. He also has a lovely staff who are attentive and kind.
