I just received four knives back from Benchmade's Lifesharp service and I am so damn impressed. Three of them were fairly old and needed a little love (which they got in spades. They feel like new.) One of them was a newer knife with a little QC issue. All of them are now back to me and I'm grinning ear to ear because they're sharp, oiled, and running smooth as butter. The best pocket knives I've ever owned, and certainly the best customer service in the industry!
The customer service was first rate. The two young men at the counter were very knowledgable and were able to help customers with their desires and needs. Aaron was on his lunch break while we were upstairs observing from the deck, he stopped and asked if we had any questions and stayed and answered all of them. Hubby is a machinist so very knowledgable about the machinery and had lots of questions regarding that. Great experience!

I may be done with Benchmade. Recently I sent in a Bali-song 259 that I have had for probably 20 years due to both handles being broken. A short while later I received a phone call stating that they couldn't repair the knife and was offered $70 off the purchase of a new model. I couldn't believe that was the only solution. They told me that according to one of their techs it was a cheap knife when new. I challenge someone to show me the catelog with a Benchmade 259 Bali-Song that was cheap. I love my knife, but had an accident with the clip and it's now broken. But the knife is always in my pocket. Update: contacted the company and they sent me a replacement clip.
Still using my knife. I have a Mel Pardue clip point serated automatic opener. I broke the belt clip off of it last month and just stuck it in my pocket. I ran into a representative today that was setting up an engraver for an event tomorrow and told him what was going on. The guy stopped what he was doing to fix my knife. I was super impressed, you guys earned my business for life.
Own an Adamas and a Rift and couldn't be happier with the knives!
These are the best knives I have ever had. The quality is great and they have a variety of styles. There's something for everyone.
