Outstanding Service! – Stopped by for a 2nd opinion after being told questionable news that I needed new brakes at 30,000 miles. Tomas offered to check out the brakes without charging me. And it turned out the 1st mechanic did not have the expertise to analyze usage on my Subaru -- applying standards of another brand. Finally, trust a mechanic – I trust these guys & can recommend them. Not knowing a thing about autos, I have always felt vulnerable with other repair shops. Saved me over a thousand bucks!! – In June, my air conditioning stopped working properly. The air just wouldn't get cold. Because I was relatively new to the Austin area, I didn't have a reputable mechanic. Someone at work recommended one of the big name brand places - surely they're honest and will stand behind their work. I took my car to NTB for an estimate. These guys honestly look out for your best interest... – I found Ben White Auto on CitySearch, and I was not disappointed. Billy was awesome as he gave me all the info I asked for, and even told me that I didn't need the tune up that I requested. How's that for honest mechanics? He was straightforward with me and even waited a little after closing for me to pick up my car as I was stuck in horrible 183 traffic. I'd definitely recommend them to my friends and i plan on going back soon to get more work done.
Great service, quick and easy – A few months ago, I was having some unidentified problems with my car. I took it to Ben White Auto, and expected to have to leave it there overnight. Instead, they were done looking at it and fixing it within two hours while I waited. Amazing! The problem was something simple, and they did not try to overcharge me for services that I didn't need. Highly recommend.
Great service. – They've done all the little things you'd want... They find someone immidiately to give you a ride to work if you need to leave your car. They fix a burned out light, on the spot, for free. They will drive with you to listen for a noise when you bring your car in. I've always been happy with the service.
HONESTY / GREAT SERVICE / FAST WORK – Honesty in the automotive repair industry is mediocre at best in Austin. I have a 98 Jeep with 100000 miles on it that wouldn't pass inspection. I took it all over town. and had estimates from 175 up 1500 dollars. I was getting a Misfire on Cylinder 4 when hooked up to the inspection system and NO ONE would tell me what they could find because they all said it was an electrical problem. Gone there twice – They haven't fixed my car's problem either time but they are nice and run an honest business. They just need some help with their mechanics!

No repair work was done by us on this car. We were unable to duplicate or find any reason for a screeching noise on one occasion. We were unable to duplicate or find any reason for a clutch pedal stuck on the floor on another occasion. Our recommendations were to return when the problems reappeared.
