We stayed the night and had dinner at the pub, the room was lovely and comfortable, provided all we needed. Dinner was excellent, with the highlight being the hot smoked salmon (smoked on site) and some fantastic plump mussels. They also have a great selection of whiskies, we ended up having our own little tasting session. Beautiful location with great views. What a cracking little place!

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, het eten was lekker, goed op smaak. Overdag is het uitzicht waarschijnlijk zeer mooi, maar daar weinig van meegekregen omdat we 's avonds kwamen om wat te eten. Fijn dat ze op maandag avond open waren voor een maal. Kaart was voor ieder wat wils, en de collectie whisky groot.

We stopped here for dinner as we were staying in the area for a short holiday. We ordered the squid and mussel starters, as well as the fish & chips and roast duck mains. The food was phenomenal, we've never had squid that tasty before! And the beetroot puree that was paired with the roast duck was simply delicious. Fast and friendly service, well worth the visit, and we're seriously considering the 550 mile drive up from London so we can eat here again!

Beautiful rooms and delicious food. Unfortunately, the lift doesn't work which makes it harder to get the luggage upstairs.
