Usually a great place this time very disappointed in the whole experience. Drive for two hours to be told no buffet on Monday eves. TV in room is not working properly. Gaming was to smoky to enjoy. Food we did get was sup par and threw most of it out. This experience just not impressed, going to leave early in the morning to go to some other casinos before going back north...Lesson learned do not come on Monday nights!!!!! ever.

Just had a nice dinner at the buffet, the grill chef even brought a plate of grilled shrimp to my table. Our waitress was very nice and took very good care of our small party of 4. Very sadden by a pair of women who were dinning at a table across from us, they definitely had their fill of crab legs and managed to hide at least one to two dozen cookies in napkins and under their shirt but not before leaving the waitress a Whopping $4.00 tip. The meal cost at least $75.00 for the two “classy” ladies. What a slap on the face to... read more

Friends bought me a gift card knowing that I enjoy my weekend trips to Belterra. The website clearly states the card can’t be used for gaming. However, can’t use it at the bars either. No mention of this on website. My friends would never have bought the card otherwise. I come there to gamble and enjoy adult beverages. If I wanted to shop I’d go to the mall. Belterra should clarify this info on their website.

I stayed at Belterra 4 days for the Heartland Poker Tour. This has to be worst poker room in the country. Management does abosulety nothing to advertise or promote the room. 9 people on the waiting list for $1/$2 NLHE and they have yet to open a table. They are hosting the HPT at Belterra and do nothing to advertise the poker room where the HPT events are being held. They really need to take a look at theirselves and how they run things here!

The room was nice and clean and modern it was however, very far from the elevators which made an issue for one of our traveling party who has some mobility problems. Some of the places to eat were great. The casino was small but clean and full of friendly folks welcoming you there. This place seems very isolated and was very quiet when we visited.

I have been visiting BelTerra 2-3x/year since it opened, usually meeting girlfriends and spending the night. We always enjoy our stays and especially like that it’s a true getaway with decent food options and friendly dealers. I miss those $39 Sunday nights, but we can usually find a few reasonably-priced nights. This past visit, my front desk person noticed it was my birthday and upgraded my room without my asking. She also directed me to Nosh for a free brownie. The downside is that the casino is way way too smokey. Every ... read more
