The most AMAZING place you can find in the Lake District. It really is what the website says - A healing place to retreat. We hosted a retreat weekend there and EVERYONE who attended were blown away by the venue and how beautifully it has been restored. It is a credit to Beatrix Potter and her legacy. As I mentioned to the owner at the time, the accommodation was unsatisfactory as the heating was completely turned off at night and day, furthermore the room we stayed in was getting extremely cold. I immediately expressed my worries about our 11 months old baby sleeping in a travel cot standing on the floor with temperatures as low as 6 degrees at night.
