We had the most wonderful experience at Beck Hall! From the food, the service, the rooms and the view, everything was awesome. Finding somewhere that’s vegan and dog friendly is a stretch, but when we saw Beck Hall we knew we had to visit. It was definitely worth the 8 hour drive. If you go, you must experience the afternoon tea & roast dinner. Additionally, the walks in the area are amazing, so you can work up an appetite. Beck hall is an absolutely brilliant hotel. The food here is immense, we were excited for every breakfast lunch and dinner. It's absolutely stunning with a bridge over a stream to get to the hotel and seating next to the stream as well. The big breakfast is amazing, the tofu scramble on toast is somehow even better The afternoon tea is lovely, the cakes are amazing and so are the sandwiches. A five star luxury vegan hotel getaway in the Yorkshire Dales. It thoroughly impressed with quality and presentation of food, location and friendliness of staff. We fully enjoyed our stay and would return but there remains 1-2 small areas for which they could improve further a) the young bar staff need more practice in honing a fine martini and margarita and b) a few more umbrellas and neater garden area by the entrance, with occasional drinks service. Spectacular food - I had one lunch there and went back for Sunday roast the next day. Everything was delicious, the service is brilliant, the restaurant is quirky and comfortable, and if you're lucky you get to make friends with people's dogs as there are so many there! Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful three-night stay in Beck Hall for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food service exceptional. The plant-based food was delicious, creative and satisfying and some of the best we've ever eaten. We really appreciated the hotel's commitment to a living wage for their staff, a diverse staff team, and their other ethical touches such as sustainable toiletries and vegan chocolate in the room! 15 out of 10. We'll be back next year.
