Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

This is my first time to NYC and Becco was recommended by several friends. Liam and Christian (in training) provided superb service and a welcoming smile. Hands down one of the absolute best meals of my life!
4 people. 1 appetizer, 2 pasta symphonies, 1 striped bass 1 ossobucco, 2 bottles of wine, and 1 dessert for about $60 pp. I dont know a better value for quality and service. What a great experienxe, can't wait until my next time here.
food was awful! the mushroom ravioli was sitting in water and had NO taste, the bolognese was horrible--mint taste to it with hard, not al dente pasta, the spaghetti was ok. the bread is awful (hard no taste) as is the hummus on the table. they even had the gall to charge me for an extra coke without giving me a free refill!! unreal. lidia should be embarrassed this is associated with her name
Tonight was my first time at the restaurant and all I can say is AMAZING. The service was fantastic, thank you Marquiese. Food was outstanding. The atmosphere tremendous. If you are in the area you must go there.
Amazing food! Sinfonia Pasta was awesome! Sure I'll be back to this place!
The pasta is amazing and so is the wine. Will definately eat there again when I'm in N.Y.
Seating is a little tight , but the food and the service were excellent. We had Veal Piccata, you could cut the veal with a fork the sautéed spinach with garlic was done perfectly. Before your glass was empty they were there to fill it. Don't forget to order dessert, it was delicious, Italian cheesecake and coffee. We felt like we were the only people there, the service was that good. We will definitely be back. Our server Jason and the crew were at your beckon call. Great experience. Only thing missing was Lidia cooking in ... read more
