Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. The cinnamon fettuccine is unbelievably delicious. Stinging Nettle gnocchi = perfection. Balcony seating was superb. Love this place.

Had dinner here after theater on 8/22 - it is definitely a neighborhood gem. I ordered the organic roasted chicken with sweet corn and tomato risotto - chicken breast was cooked and seasoned perfectly with the crispy skin outside. My husband had the filleted Branzino which was also cooked perfectly. Amazing wine selection. Very lively atmosphere - tables close together but we ended up meeting a very nice couple from Minnesota that we had a lot in common with so it all worked out well.

Amazing experience, one I will never forget, the food , the service was outstanding!!!! One of my favorite your zucchini flower Lida you are my inspiration ....my dream came true .... To enjoy a beautiful and not to say delicious dinner in one of your many restaurants. I wish the next time I get to visit ...is to personally meet you..... Now that would be a dream come true !!
Wow, the pasta special and antipasta was amazing... Great spot, not a tourist trap at all!
I went there recently i thought it would be good since the owner only picks good staff but it wasnt good ti wasnt great... it was incredible.. even the word incredible its a big enough work to discribe the food i got the chicken with the risotto and OMG!!! Only thing missing is i would like like to meet one of the 2 owners maybe ill be lucky on my next visit :)
Our favorite place ever! We sure will miss becco when we leave nyc!
