Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

My favorite place to eat when visiting the City. An absolute must!
Best meal. Sword fish was excellent. Veal chop cooked to perfection. Garlic mashed potatoes to die for. Won't even get into the pasta!! Wonderful dinner, great choice. The peach martini !!
Totally over hyped. The broccoli and rigatoni sucked. Had a sauce like dish water. Our waiter was rude and the guy who brings around the pasta spilled pasta on my new button down shirt. The bathrooms in the subway are cleaner than at this place. Deserts are way overpriced. 9 dollars for three scoops of gelato the size of a golf ball. I would not recommend to anyone.
Place rocks
Also a great experience !
We were here a few years ago during Lidia's book signing. Fantastic, authentic, rustic Italian food, Yumm ❤️
Was in New Jersey visitmy girlfriend and I took her here for dinner.... The service was outstanding and the food was impeccable. Thank you for making our night out special
Very nice. Food is very good.
Decor and restaurant design was bright and fresh. Bathrooms small but ok. They got a full restaurant in and out in time to catch a show (if that's where one was headed) company was delightful (Bring your own fun friends) Food was tasty. They served up current trends well HOWEVER- the service was snarky- not very welcoming and at times combative! This coupled with stiff management left us with a " One and done" review. There are plenty of good- great restaurants in NYC. This one does not get a second visit.
Becco has a 4.3 star rating with 5,429 reviews.
Becco is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
