When I 19 weeks pregnant back in March I went there because my OB (in Madison) said I sounded dehydrated based on my symptoms and told me to go to the nearest urgent care for fluids. Pretty normal thing for a pregnant woman to go through, right? Little background on my insurance- it’s a Dane-County-only HMO, meaning anything outside of Dane County is out of network and I’ll have no coverage UNLESS it’s urgent care/ER. Well. My 84 year old dad was transferred by ambulance to BDCH at 4;30 p.m. because of chest pain. It was all around a horrible experience. We went hours in between seeing anyone to get any answers. My sister had to BUY him some water because they wouldn't bring him any. (No restrictions on eating or drinking) FINALLY at 11:30 p.m. they said they were going to transfer him to UW. It wasn't until 1:30 A.M. that someone came in again to tell us that there were no beds available at UW. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO BDCH. Caring is not a prio... read more
Recommendednever had a problem here take all my kids to see Dr Lambert and she so good with them even when was her day off she called when our one year old was in surgery to get tumor taken out... and the women's clinic also top notch as well is ob floor I'll keep going here over waupun keep it up guys
Service at this hospital is terrible. I do not recommend. My husband had to walk out today after not receiving care.
the staff, doctors and nurses, respiratory therapists, were all wonderful! third floor, you rock! even the food was good! lol
Rude staff on hospital floors, took 30 minutes to get water, never got dinner, you don't know how to treat people who are paralyzed on one side, they need more help adjusting themselves. And oversized wheelchair for ,5'2 person, really?? that's just dangerous!
anything more than a 10 minute wait is a joke. an hour after a car accident and I'm still waiting. I should have taken an ambulance to Madison

I have been missed diagnosed twice since May of 2017... My most recent was 12/26/2018..I woke up and couldn't walk on my right foot..went in..had some swelling and bruising to the top of my foot and foot was slightly discolored and in tremendous pain.. Doctor did a few x-rays..put me in medication and said I had gout..a week later I called my family doctor and saw him, he immediately sent me to a specialist..I had a broken foot, because I walked on in when I needed to,it broke very badly every time I walked it broke more and... read more
