Beardslee Castle might seem a bit out of place in the woods near the Adirondacks, but this fine dining establishment in the Hudson Valley offers a traditional American menu with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. I can't say enough good stuff about Beardslee Castle except that I don't get there often enough. I've taken my favorite people in the world there, some are now gone, but can think back and say that we had the experience. As always food was on point, atmosphere perfect. Service excellent - Thanks Hannah! Even with a wedding going on you never felt that anything was lacking. Hope we get there more often in the future!

Everything about this place is spectacular, the castle itself, outside and in. The menu, the staff, the drinks, the managerial/ownership. I can’t recommend it enough, if you want to share an exquisite meal with people you cherish, this is the spot. Best restaurant in the Mohawk Valley, true fine dining.

Loved the food and the service
I had the Sausage Stuffed Pork Loin, and it was delicious. Our server was polite, and accommodating to our needs. She checked on us, but not to often, so we could enjoy our meal without interruption. Its a very cozy atmosphere and very roomy in the dining areas. I will definitely go again.
Beautiful venue in a gorgeous setting. The food is absolutely amazing, with fine dining choices ranging from neo-traditional to more exotic choices for the more adventurous.
