Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. Murder mystery event was great! Wandered the whole restaurant after and decided I need to return soon!
After waiting for 2 years for the chance to come here (we made plans but always had to cancel due to family incidents!) we drove in on our way back from a DC trip. That’s a 6.4 hour drive folks! It was ABSOLUTELY worth the drive 😍 The food is out of this world. Thanks for making two weary travelers feel restored, refreshed and extremely well fed.

Made reservations a couple weeks ago. Travelled 1.5 hrs just to find out no reservations written down. Felt like we were not welcome so didn’t even stay for food.
