Good work knew one of the staff! Anyone else wants to go would be glad they did.
I have been to the ER, has both outpatient and inpatient surgery with up to 5 day stay. All times I was treated exceptional good. This facility has made a lot of improvements since Baylor has taken over. I would recommend it to all my friends.
I was there for about 8 hours. They were really busy. Everyone was professional and polite. The doctor was thorough and explained everything completely. I am feeling 75% better just in the next day.
My grandma is there because she is really sic but the nurses there are so rude. Since she has to wear a diaper they have to change the nurses dont always be their when she needs to be changed even if we go and ask nicely twice or even more times. I also experience today this lady in the dialisis room next to us screaming of pain and the nurse wouldn't even go up to her and ask if she wanted pain medicine she was yelling for an hour or so till her nurse showed up.
I've been there twice for an outpatient procedure, and both times were incredibly positive experiences. The check in and registration staff, the financial assistance lady, the nurses, the guy who moved my bed, my doctor, and everyone else was friendly and kind. I appreciated their professionalism and the way they made me feel comfortable and like my experience there mattered to them. Thank you for making two rather unpleasant events more bearable and for treating me like a human and not just the next task to complete.
Love this hospital and Dr. Schatz is the absolute best!
Went in to the ER yesterday with excruciating upper abdominal pain. $650 later, I was sent home with a bunch of Rx: Tylenol with codeine, anti nausea pills (I had no nausea), antacid. I had to ask for an Rx to stop the muscle spasms, and then got that (the most important one!). They told me they would give me a CD with my ultrasound results; forgot to give me that.
