Excellent day out, my wife very much enjoyed the up-close experience with the Highland cattle including calves. Lovely grounds, friendly, helpful staff and a very good lunch. Could do with more information signage on the enclosures and fields about the animals.
Had a brilliant time, the staff were incredibly friendly and very clear about safety procedures and how to interact with the animals safely. The animals were clearly very happy and so very friendly. We didn't do the highland cow experience, but still got to meet some of them and feed them, and they were all super friendly. I'd definitely recommend visiting.
I don’t normally post reviews but this time I just felt I had to share our experience of farmer for the afternoon . This was amazing from start to finish for my farmer mad 15 year old for her birthday . Amber was such a Fab host who shared her experiences and her knowledge . My daughter got to feed , cuddle and care for all different animals on the farm , This is a definite birthday treat again next year and all the way home she has said I am so happy , Thankyou Amber and thankyou Baylem rare breeds.
Sweet and loving animals. Not much here. Got huffed at by lady working in the cafe/shop bit when we asked for a roll, even though they didn’t close for another hour and a half. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon
Even as a farmer myself it was a great day out, such a great experience, will definitely be back!
