My dad is here right now. He had surgery on his back. After telling me they would keep in contact with me All during surgery not ONE person let me know anything! I asked the receptionist at the preop desk and she called someone and only told me he was still in the OR. I waited longer then noticed the phone and number on the desk. Billing department is patronizing and belittling. Worst interaction with a customer service representative I've ever experienced. Charity will deny you even if you qualify for it. This hospital is crooked.
Recommendedthe ICU floor was amazing... Jessica, J, Dee (my popsicle dealer) and Dr. Hysong really made my stay awesome. I was comfortable and not scared out of my mind. they stayed and talked with me and listen to me like the really cared for me. I love them and truly great full for everything they did for me.and we still have to go to the beach
We recently had to visit the ER. I anticipated not being able to go in with my husband (cause if everything I’ve heard of how Covid has made everything) but they let me stay with him the entire time. Every nurse we dealt with was so nice and helpful. The nurse that x-rayed his elbow (I do not recall his name) was very gentle and super nice! And nurse Cyn was so knowledgeable and friendly we really enjoyed talking to her when we were waiting to be able to go home. Honestly all of the staff we dealt with were great!

A close family member of mine recently had emergency heart surgery there. While I am grateful to Dr. Seto and the rest of the O.R. staff for being talented medical professionals who do their jobs well, the fact that Dr. Seto works there is the only positive thing I can say about Ascension Sacred Heart Bay. The free standing location in Panama City Beach is absolutely horrible. Came in to the emergency department today with some concerns. The nurse got an attitude with me and made me cry for no reason. They showed absolutely zero compassion. The doctor never went over my results with me, the nurse just came in and told me I was fine to leave. I still have no idea what’s going on or what my test results are. Won’t be back.

This is not my personal experience because I am not related to the person that I know is hospitalized here but this place is a joke. They have failed my friend and his family on multiple occasions. First by wrongfully notifying his spouse that he was deceased when he actually isn't, and then naking it difficult to contact them and i hate to say it but we were told they are wanting his organs even though he is still alive.
