RecommendedThank you Brandon. I woke up this morning to a oily, hot smell when my furnace went on. Called with my concern, Brandon was sent to check it out. Even though it turned out to be my sub pump and not my furnace, he was able to help me find a plumber to fix my problem . I have worked with this company for over 20 years and highly recommend them. Every employee has been knowledgeable and courteous. They replaced our furnace and air conditioner efficiently, keeping in mind what orientation would work best for spacing of the basement. They made sure we knew where/how we could find help, how our new equipment worked, and how to take care of it (ex. Filters) prior to leaving. During our quote process, Chad took the time to talk through our different options and the pros and cons of each. Highly recommended.

They were in and out in just a few hours to replace my furnace. The technician even showed me what was happened to my unit how it was a good idea to change out. Mine was leaking carbon monoxide and didn't even realize it. They even showed my how to control the new thermostat. Love the Wifi app I can use when I am not home. Worked with Kim to get all set up and she was very knowledgeable. Thanks again!
Baumann & DeGroot are deserving of the highest accolades for their recent installation of my new heating and air conditioning units. Their service was spot on, beginning with the first contact and continuing on to completion. They responded to my request for a quote on the same day, prepared the quote, scheduled an installation date at the same time (were on time for installation on that date) and followed up after installation to insure my satisfaction. After researching numerous companies in the greater Grand Rapids area, no one, and I mean no one, came close to combining quality work, quality products and affordability like Baumann & DeGroot. We recently had a new air conditioner installed. They arrived at the scheduled time, however, we advised them we had to power (lost during storm). That didn't stop the installation and they continued onward and installed the air conditioner. They were very polite and took their shoes off every time they entered the home. We were very pleased with their pricing and professionalism.
Our AC failed just as hot and humid weather arrived. Thankfully, Baumann & Degroot found a service time to replace our entire HVAC system and water heater. They arrived promptly as scheduled, explained the process, and got to work. The whole job was completed faster than we ever hoped, and we now have cool dry air as summer swings into full gear. Can’t recommend this company enough, from those who diagnosed our problem, to the phone staff and installers!
They responded quickly to our problem and we ended up needing a new central air unit. We got the quote in the morning and the unit was installed by the end of the day. Great service! Very impressed. 5 stars
