The owners are what the Americans call 'White Trash' they delude themselves there is some 'polish. but would be more suited to a trailer park. Apparently they are bitter they had to leave Rhodesia with nothing and the hotel has since been sold for £1.7 million when the original asking price was £2.5 which says everything
