Trendy Place but Lacked Substance – My partner and I have been looking forward to trying this place since we've moved to the area. Sadly, we were quickly disappointed with the slow, unattentive service and the poor drink presentation. Despite it being a Saturday night and during happy hours, the small place was not full. The crowd was, indeed, trendy, and might've been tired waitlisters from another martini bar across the street, Brazen Bean, which was bustling with giddy patrons. The waitresses neglected us despite several ... read more
Great Happy Hour – We checked out Happy Hour on Saturday. The place is definitely small. Probably about 10 tables in their, and everything is black. Their Martini menu rocks, and is definitely worth checking out during happy hour since all the drinks are half price. The Tiramisu martini is fabulous!
Disappointed – I had heard about Bartini and looked forward to going there, but was disappointed by the horrible service. My friend & I had to ask the bartender if we could sit, waited & finally asked him for drinks. The waitress never talked to us, but would only come by to take our drinks and not offer to get us another. It's sad, it was a nice place.
Dark cave for fantastic drinks – the drink menu is outstanding and requires many visits: so creative and uniqu. had the ginger sugar and it was a hot/sweet joy; bonus was the chunk of sugared ginger at the bottom of the glass. All the walls and carpet are black so the place is a cave: romatic though errie. perfect for dates and the back couch is lite with a black/purple light. food is "sharing" food: dippings, nibbles, snacks.... love this option so that variety is the main deal vs. a plate-o-food.
ask for DARCY or RICH – Oh! my gosh! i had the best time at bartini! everyone go check it out! the hundreds of martini's to choose from was overwelming, but just ask Darcy or Rich and they will help find one that suits you. We were there for happy hour which was very busy, but worth it. th happy hour menu is fantastic!!! Get the fondue! we also had dinner there , you would'nt think to go to dinner there, but, they have a wonderful dinner menu. Rich is so funny. he will make you laugh so hard your cheeks will hurt. Darcy is so sw... read more
All I can say is WOW!!! – Bartini was completely full, but instead of telling us about the possible long wait ahead (like at Brazen Bean), we were informed that we could enjoy a drink at the marble bar along the wall until a table opened. It felt like we were at Dosha's getting pampered! I had a question about Urban Fondue, and Richard was there giving us every detail immediately. We decided to sit at the bar and a visit with the CUTE bartender Scott ;). Although he had to make drinks not only for Bartini but for Urban Fondu... read more
Cucumber margahrita's – Scott is only the 2nd bartender to know how to make an incredibly refreshing Cucumber Margahrita. Richard is a wonderful and exceptional owner! So happy to know you. Jen (from the VooDoo ;) )
Great new find. – One of the best drink menus we've ever seen. The Oatmeal Cookie martini is amazing, as was the Snickertini (think caramel). A first rate drink list - both in flavor an innovation. Strange combinations that actually work-and do so well. We didn't try the food but it looked good. We'll definitely be back.
Many options, but worth it? No – Bartini is small and dark... very unwelcoming and hot and stifling when it's busy. A large group of us had to sit outside even after having asked for special arrangments inside weeks in advanced and being told we would have them. While there were many innovative martinis on their menu, I've had better martinis at the Red Star. The food was foo-foo and ridiculously over priced. The service was horrendous. Not only was our waitress the only one servicing the entire joint (and we tried to unders... read more
