WORST SERVICE EVER! – I waited 22 minutes for this so called waitress, I finally left. I have went there and had bad experiences before, but I thought I would give it another chance, wow, I wouldn't recomend this place if you were starving! Way too much money for their weak drinks! Horrible Horrible service!

OK drinks, bad service – So, I am new to PDX and heard this place was where its at. It is, if you want bad service, weak drinks and to be overcharged. After my waitress couldn't figure out to split the bill, charging it all to my credit card, I go home to see that I was also OVERCHARGED. Upon calling this establishment, I was told; "well...come in tomorrow and I guess we'll fix it" as if I was at fault here. I won't be going back, ever.

Nothing Special – Sorry, despite the great location and charming name...Bartini isn't worth mentioning. The drinks were average, the happy hour food portions were tiny and flavorless. The waitress was rude and actually sat at a table of her own friends for 5 minutes before taking our order. Another thing...the floor was filthy and our tables were sticky and had not been cleaned off. When we asked the waitress to wipe them down, she handed us a towel. When I come to eat and drink at a restaurant I expect it to be clean. Is th... read more

Great Happy Hour – My roommate and I frequent Bartini, not only for the fabulous concoctions but for the welcome we get from the staff and the great happy hour. This is probably our favorite drink and happy hour spot. They have $3 and $4 martinis and I am not talking 1 or 2, I think they have around 100. They also have a long list of happy hour food. Their happy hour is unique and of quality, nothing fried and lots of fresh ingredients, which is a rare find in this town!

Not so much. – Having been to Bartini for several occasions, I would have to say only one time was it truly spectacular. Most recent event was my boyfriends birthday, we went for Happy Hour. There were three of us and from the get go our waitress had an attitude. She hastily took our order which consisted of three Martini's, the Smoked Cheddar Fondue with Sausage and a spring salad (which I never got). While they were making our drinks we noticed that she used her bare hand to grab out our garnishes; which they themselves we... read more

worst tasting and overpriced martinis.... – After moving over to NW a few months ago we decided to try Bartini. I had high expectations going in, but was let down immediately. Either the bartender was inexperienced or he just wanted to torture us. The drinks were terrible, out of three martinis not one was good. We should have just ordered shots, its pretty hard to screw that up. On top of the horrible drinks, everything was overpriced.

More than 100 martinis create quite a stir at NW 21st and Glisan. – The Scene The dim yellow light fixtures hanging down in the black-as-night interior provide just enough light for perusing the extensive drink list. The high-ceilinged space, formerly an Italian restaurant, is tiny--about the size of a studio apartment. Perch yourself at a window table for prime people-watching or snuggle on the couch toward the back. The Draw Tradition has been tossed aside in favor of creating cocktails that are anything but run-of-the-mil... read more

too many to choose – there were just too many choices, we have been there three times and still only a fraction of the way through. most of the martinis are tastey, a few are just too far out there it even try. but all in all a good place to drink

It was just all right, nothing remarkable. – Happy hour = good. The happy hour food specials are the real bargain - while the drinks are cheap and there are many to choose from, they're not that good; the food is inexpensive and tasty to boot. The service however, well, our cocktailer was no personality plus ... while she got our orders correct, she walked away from my friend before she was done ordering and had to be called back - twice. As far as NW martini bars go, try Vault or Brazen Bean instead.
