Great for happy hour! – Went last week with a coworker and was very impressed. Good selection of cheap appetizers (and a vegan one, too) and the most amazing selection of martinis! I had five martinis and an appetizer + tip for $24. At 4:30, there were many open tables, but by the time we left 2 hours later it was quite crowded. I will definitely be back soon.
Portland Gem – New to Portland, I visited Bartini on a recommendation. Very impressed. This quaint spot offers exquisite martinis, a well thought out menu of quality food and in the midst of a busy evening, genuine and conscientious service. Darcy our server was fantastic. I plan to be back for happy hour.
Horrible Service – My girlfriend and I stopped by for a drink here after going to the Brazen Bean. We should have stayed at the Bean. We were 2 of 6 people in the bar and it took five minutes for the waitress to get to our table. She hastily took our order, looked at us like we were crazy for not ordering food. After we finished our drink, the waitress took the glasses and didn't even ask if we wanted another.... It doesn't suprise me one bit that these are the same owners of Voodoo.... Both rank at the very bottom when it c... read more
Best in the city – Bartini has a nice vibe, very unpretentious and a great martini list, probably the best in the city. Highly recommend Bartini on drinks alone, but food and service rank up there too. They have a great happy hour menu also.
Fabulous! – I have read about Bartini in both the Oregonian & Willamette Week and recently in Cheers magazine and thought I have to try this place. I am glad I did. One article praised the sleek decor and how it mirrored the martini selections. I must agree. I love the rich black walls and the oversized tube shaped vases with fresh flowers- pairs well with the fresh flower martinis they serve. A must try is the "Sweet Nasturium" served with a floating flower. The enormous selection of martinis made it difficult to choose- so... read more
Too small, ok drinks – Very small spot crammed with a little older crowd of "Hey this is the hot spot". My wife said it was the worst margarita she's ever had, can;t say I love "The Blues". The apps they serve are ok and crowd pretentious per the hot spot scene. Only highlight the blond waitress that also works at VooDoo Lounge. We haven't been in months - she remembered us and is always pleasant. Great waitress. We'll stick to the owners other spot - the VooDoo - much better all around. Maybe Bartini will come around, you c... read more
Great Concept/Needs Work – Nice ambiance and "scene" and the drink/martini menu is an entertaining short novel. The actual concoctions left something to be desired for $10 a pop. Mixocology needs some refining.
