Best Happy Hour Hands Down! – My friends and have been going to Bartini for years and love it more than happy hour any where else in town. Every time we stray we regret it. We usually make it once a week - their happy hour lasts until 6:30 which is longer than most. Also, unlike other happy hour menus, both food and martinis are included and the prices are great. It can get crowded but that is always a sign of a good location. Wait staff and the bartenders are always friendly. Jamie is our favorite waitress and always takes ... read more
Best wait staff and bartender EVER!!!! – Bartini is an amazing little bar in the trendy NW 21st neighborhood. Their happy hour is one of the best in Portland with $3-$4 martinis and an excellent food menu. However, the thing I love most about them is the wait staff and bartender. My friends and I can be a bit needy and even demanding, and the waitress at Bartini is ALWAYS nothing but sweet as can be and handles all of our requests with a smile, even when the place is packed. The bartender makes an excellent martini, every ti... read more
Good times – I have frequented this establishment time and time again. I have had some great experiences and some below average ones. It seems to me that the spot to get really good serivce is at the bar. The two guys I have seen working there are really on top of their game. The big somoan guys is totally hilarious and the funny one with the flock of seagulls hairdo is a real kick in the pantz. I tend to drink more than i eat there, but what i have had foodwize is pretty tasty. Not much of a fondue fan, can't even spell it,... read more
My girl and I finally checked this place out after it seeing packed time after time, on are way from Trader Joes. It was Monday night and pretty mellow so we popped in and saddled up to the bar, where the friendly dude chatted us up, told us what drinks he liked and which ones he thought we should stay away from. We didn't know it was happy hour, but when he told us all the cocktails were half off, we tried three or four different ones, snacked on some ahi and had really good time. Also, I guess we caught the bartender on hi... read more
Awesome girls night out! – I went to Bartini Friday night with a few girlfriends and had a fantastic time! Our drinks were very creative and good. Our adorable short dark haired waitress recommended a couple amazing drinks that were not on the menu, a sparkling pear and a pineapple and sage one made with tequila. Our dinners were delicious, salmon with a caprese salad. The servers and bartenders were all very attentive and happy. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
New to town! – Went to check out Bartini last weekend, and it was awesome! This place had good atmosphere and friendly service. The happy hour fondue was killer, especially if you add mushrooms..to die for. And as someone who normally drinks straight vodka martini's I was pleasantly surprised when I ventured for something different..a cucumber one with basil and lemon, and another with champagne! Totally going back!
Great martinis; horrible service! – I visited Bartini about two weeks ago for dinner and drinks, having checked out their menu online. Their menu has a wide variety of interesting food, and the drink list is extensive and exotic. However, it's awfully dark inside, which is only exacerbated by the dark walls and black marble topped tables. No one greets you when you enter; we waited for about 7 or 8 minutes awkwardly looking around for a server, who glanced over at us and then continued to pretend we didn't exist. We finally ... read more

Fun (short) martinis, slow service – My fifth time to Barini really confirmed how I've felt about the palce since my first visit: A wide variety of drinks and happy hour food at decent prices, but the worst/slowest service I've ever had during happy hour. Specifically, my friends and I always wait a good 10 minutes after seating before we're approached by a waiter (perhaps this is because of their extensive drink menu?), and while the happy hour food is definitely delicious, the fondu is invariably grainy (I'm convinced they... read more
