Gave birth twice here. Both times had very good experiences. If living in Northamptonshire would recommend picking NGH to give birth and for scans. Heard many bad experiences at KGH
Excellent experience. We had patchy records as we were overseas for a lot of the pregnancy, but the team took us through the last phases with excellent diligence. We did daily CTG scans at the Triage unit and eventually had an emergency Cat 2 C-section at the Sturtridge labour ward at 3 a.m. The midwifery and surgical teams were amazing. Could not fault the facilities and staff at both the birth centre and Robert Watson Ward at NGH. This was my first labour and hoped I could have my preference of being able to have our daughter in the Birth centre but being realistic that this may not be the case. The room I was in was private, clean, had a gorgeous bath with mood lighting and a double bed.
