We had the most magical stay at Booth Farm. Duncan and Jen have thought of literally everything and both properties are outfitted to an exceptional standard. Duncan and Jen themselves could not have been more kind or generous, showing our children around their small holding and telling us all about the restoration of the property. We chose Barn Cottage and neighbouring Booth Farm for our bridal party over the course of our wedding weekend. Both properties proved the perfect backdrop for our getting ready pictures and Duncan and Jen went above and beyond with their little touches which were so, so greatly appreciated. The properties are beautifully renovated with everything you need for a stay, and more! The location is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these properties to anyone. Very well equipped, neat, quaint cottage in a stunning location. Great day hikes on the doorstep. The hosts are also very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
This place was just what we needed for a weekend away in the Peaks. Its the perfect location, far enough away from the village of Hayfield to feel secluded and quiet but also only a few minutes drive to the pubs and shops if needed. The accommodation itself has more Ryan everything you could need and the log burner was an awesome feature. Duncan the host communicated really well and was there when we needed so couldn’t have asked for more. I would stay again in a heartbeat!!
