jwatson I have been using the Bark and Purr Retreat for several years now and find them to be very professional, polite and courteous. I like the idea that they get my dogs out to the yards so many times a day. Their staff takes very good care of my dogs.
nice job Southlake's Bark and Purr is great! From the minute we walked in the door to when we pick up our dog, I could tell these folks were going to take really good care of our dog. Frankly, I'm not really sure she wanted to come home. Our dog is very social and being around all the other dogs and all the staff was perfect for her.
Do NOT board your animals here! My current job (an animal clinic) takes in a lot of the owner's poodles that she breeds and some boarders that get sick while boarding at this place. This is by far the worst place to keep any animal. The employees are nice but the owner is very trashy! She apparently keeps a stock of antibiotics on hand that she just administers to whatever dog she thinks needs it without taking the animal to see a vet. Honest Facts They put the dogs in rusted kennels and the dogs are not played with at all. They just make enough time to take the dogs out to poop and that s it. Fed once at 8am and again at 2:30pm. The cats only get to see anyone once a day and all the do is clean and feed once! At 1:00...no play time. Honestly none of the employees would EVER take their pets here, they ve told me. Completely Happy I usually take my dog everywhere I go, however because of some complication I wasn't able to, and I was forced to board her somewhere. My friend had recommended Southlake's to me, so I went with them, and they were surprisingly wonderful. I am completely happy with their services. I definitely know where to go in case I have another emergency like this last one.
Awesome Job Thank you for taking good care of Pepper for me. I could tell she really liked it there, and she was very happy. I will definitely bring her back if I go out of town again.
Internet is a strange place We've boarded some very cherished dogs there for over 20 years and continue to do so. We have never had any problem even with long stays. On our last trip we picked up early and the dog was already bathed, andobviously well cared for.
Fabolous! Southlake's Bark and Purr Pet Retreat has the best dog grooming location in TX!! The owner is very kind and considerate to all the animals and makes pets and owners alike feel welcome and she does an INCREDIBLE grooming job!!!
THE BARK AND PURR IS AWESOME! I'LL NEVER TAKE MY DOG ANYWHERE ELSE I have gone to the Bark and Purr for many years, and I will never take my dog anywhere else. My dog has been left in their care so many times I can't even count them all. They have gone out of their way to take care of my dog, because I travel alot.
