Love Them I love Southlake's Bark and Purr Pet Retreat. I know the staff there really treat my cat well. I never have to worry for a second when I leave her there. The facility is very beautiful and clean. I wouldn't leave my cat anywhere else.
good Once again, we boarded our dogs at Bark and Purr when we went to visit family on the East Coast. The folks at Bark and Purr are terrific! They were accomodating with a last minute schedule. Thanks.
Great This place is one of the best places that i have been to for boarding your animals. I have been using them for a few years now and they are really just that great. They are not very expensive either so that is also a plus. They have taken care of my dogs and cats so well every time that i have gone in here and i would reccomend them to everyone to use.
Defense I worked for the Southlakes Bark and Purr Retreat. Mrs. Whelan will stay on top of everyone there to make sure that everything is done at a proper time. She makes sure the dogs are walked and well cared for. She and I did not always see eye to eye on some things but she does take care of the animals. Mr. and Mrs Whelan love animals and they do what the say they will do for you. She fires people and they go to work for other kennels in the area such as elite Suites. Wonderful I just read the review from kathy d. and felt I needed to respond to her review. I have been coming to the Bark and Purr Pet Retreat for over 15 years and think it is a great place to keep your animals. Their staff is very courteous, friendly and very helpful. I have two Golden Retrievers and they get very excited every time I bring them here. Can I get a RESPONSE instead of a DELETE?? I find the fact that any comments regarding actual issues that don't just sound like a crazy ex-employee are deleted immediately very sad. One, for the dogs, and two, for the people. They are being completely misled. How about you respond to this one with some answers instead of avoiding the issues, ma'am?
