Wonderful place to board animals! I had never boarded my animals (a dog and cat) and I was really nervous to do so. When I got to Bark & Purr Retreat, all my worries went away. This is a great place to take both dogs and cats to be boarded when you go out of town. They have play rooms for the cat and wonderful staff members to take care of all the animals. DEFENSE First of all to introduce myself my name is Ashlee Bridges...im the current assistant manager of Southlakes Bark and Purr Pet Retreat. I started working here just after thanksgiving of 2013. Don't believe me I posted pics on yahoo reviews I find it very funny how everyone blames the bad reviews on disgruntle employees and yet they never check out the conditions for themselves. I posted a pic of the breeding poodles...the cramp cat conditions...a dog shivering on the cold concrete in the middle of winter.. and the tore up floor with rebar that they try to hide during tours with sheet thin blankets that do nothing for the cold floor. Ignore Disgruntled Employee Reviews You can tell the actual customers vs. the disgruntled employees. I have taken my 2 dogs here for years and stumbled upon these reviews and I am disgusted that these employees try to give this place a bad name. I find Bark and Purr to be extremely helpful and kind to my dogs and trust them every time I go out of town.
Can I get a RESPONSE instead of a DELETE?? I find the fact that any comments regarding actual issues that don't just sound like a crazy ex-employee are deleted immediately very sad. One, for the dogs, and two, for the people. They are being completely misled. How about you respond to this one with some answers instead of avoiding the issues, ma'am?
