Situated in the charming little village of Sheet, the quaint Barbary Cottage is the epitome of an English high street “2up and 2 down”. Well appointed and comfortable, the good size garden with access to the recreation ground beyond is the icing on the cake. Add in 2 wonderful pubs within staggering distance and the delightful boast, Jo, and this is a very special property in a fabulous part of Hampshire.
We stayed at Barbury Cottage for two nights and had the most amazing time. Such a beautiful cottage. Everything you could wish for plus an amazing wood burner. Sheet is a perfect little village with a pub serving delicious food. We would go back in a flash and would recommend to anyone.
Gorgeous, charming cottage with lots of character in a great location in the pretty village of Sheet. The property was clean and tidy with everything you need. The owner was very friendly and helpful and she kindly met us at the cottage so we could pay her in cash, which we really appreciated. She was extremely pleasant and welcoming informing us of places to go in the area. Clean and tidy however the downstairs particularly bathroom and kitchen in need of an upgrade. Parking not good not advisable to park on the road. Garden needs a good tidy-up. Fine for our 2 night stay.
