You have given me the worst experience of any hospital I’ve ever attended in my life. I will never return and I will be sure to follow up on my experience. You all have no concern for your patients care. I will never return even if my life depends on it.
My mom required surgery yesterday in the PACU at Baptist Desoto and was stuck for an HOUR AND A HALF waiting in holding for a STAT lab to be completed before her surgery could be performed. Then the lab tech who finally showed up couldn’t get the blood sample that was needed... the anesthesiologist ended up getting the blood sample. The staff in the PACU though was amazing!! I used to love this place but our current experience is terrible. Nurses going to class and no one covering their patients. Call nurse's station and then they don't send anyone. Shift change nurses leave next shift arrives but no nurses can be found for over 20 minutes?

The worst hospital and staff I’ve ever experienced. My grandmother is currently there to a broken hip and they refuse to bring her a bed pan. She had laid in her feces for hours at a time and is literally raw. AWFUL! This isn’t humanity!
I was transported to Baptist Desoto from another hospital due to pulmonary edema , threat of pulmonary embolism, and elevated heart rate. The admitting attending, Dr. Weiner was great, he explained what the plan was going forward, which was to consult with pulmonary and cardiology, get the fluid off that had been on me for two weeks, even with lasix, and that he would be sure to not d/c me until they know what is going on and where the fluid was coming from. I was a patient at 391 southcrest cir. suite 210, for a procedure. On 3/21/18, Ame took my information, Jason put in my IV, and did an excellant job. Cathy was in charge of procedure for Treadmill etc. and was excellant in handling her duties. All three of the staff/team members did a wonderful job. They are to be commended. Alice Marion
