I lost faith in humanity yesterday. I went to the er for a REAL emergency bleeding and in pain. After waiting 5 hours and was never even offered a blanket after being in a room for two of those hours. The ER department is amazing. I usually have a great experience with pleasant nurses when I arrive. But, 1 spoiled apple always ruins the bunch. This is the 2nd time I have taken my pregnant coworker to the ER. Again, the ER staff AMAZING!!! Last time all the nurses in the women’s pavilion were great as well. BUT, not the case on today. My fiancé was admitted Saturday of a stroke. Fully paralyzed on left side!They discharged her Thursday afternoon still partially incapacitated on her left side. When the doctors actually said she needed in house rehabilitation for mind and speech problems incurred by the stroke and she still has motor-function disadvantages as far as mobility! I was referred here by a specialist for an X-ray. The office called me twice for scheduling with both times being cancelled once I arrived to the hospital. The first was cancelled after me waiting for 2 hours and being told I was on the wrong day of my cycle (and I was never informed that it mattered). The next one was cancelled because it was too late in the day for the labs to be run before an x-ray. There needs to be better communication between health care workers and office management so patients know all of the require... read more
Best staff of nurses ever. Especially Heather, Lester, and Teresa. Keep it going guys, cause goin to the hospital is undeniably one of the most negative things that we humans HAVE to do; and with nurses like these, the entire process was filled with smiles and genuine generosity. I just left there with the IV still in my arm! I was given a morphine shot while I was there so I was kind of out of it, but that is fully the staff’s responsibility!
