Every time we are here we have encountered major issues. It took over 10 minutes this morning to get the emergency call button answered - and that included having to call the charge nurse. We were told at 10:30-11 that we were approved to be discharged, just needed labs drawn first and the lab would be down around noon. Multiple calls and requests later we found out the pharmacy somehow accidentally deleted the lab order. It's 4:30 and still no labs drawn, so we can not leave. It's a circus. My Dad was admitted to the hospital for 11 days. He always had excellent care and all of the nurses were attentive and caring. My Dad remarked that it was more like a Resort than a hospital! When I needed information from the nurse's station, they were always helpful and tried their best to resolve any issues. Way to go Baptist Health!
We came in to be induced Monday morning and had plans to be home by Wednesday....unfortunately our baby boy had other plans and spent Tuesday night until Friday night in the NICU. What a stressful time for him and our family. We were so appreciative of the care provided by the staff at baptist in all departments-especially the NICU!
