I’ve been in this hospital several times over the last year and some of the staff are so nice and friendly but some aren’t and shouldn’t be working here. I’ve had good experiences but I’ve also had very bad experiences. I think it all depends on the nurse and if she’s up to date on peoples illnesses. Know one should be treated like dirt after surgery in the recovery room but all in all...I really like this hospital and the only reason I’m recommending here is because of the Doctors. RecommendedMy children saw Dr. Miers as they grew up and now she cares for my grandson. All of the doctors here are wonderful. They are knowledgeable. They utilize outside specialties when needed but are rational and don’t put children through procedures they don’t need. We have had only good experiences and while the wait can be long at times Dr. Miers always takes the time to answer all questions and reassure us on any concerns without making us feel rushed. I was in your hospital from having back surgery and the night before going home I called the nurses station 15 times asking for pain meds and I always got some one will be in no one came to bring meds. Now it is shift change time and nurse walks in and see me trying to get up she was shocked and concern. If you are 40 or younger, exercise a lot and have little to no health problems then Dr. Grant is the best choice for you!! However, if you are over 40 with multiple health issues look elsewhere. And if you are a chronic pain patient - run! I have never been with a physician this rude who so easily insults patients, makes irrational judgements about his patients and shows his frustration with patient needs.
