This was our first year with Amerigas and we paid extra for automatic delivery. Yes, our house is not the most efficient. But we ran out of gas completely THREE TIMES. We live in Vermont, freezing cold Vermont. One night it was 25 degrees outside and we went through the night with no heat! And when we did run out of gas (every time) they gave us a $25 discount to apologize. It takes way more than that to get it up to a comfortable temperature! I would also give them zero stars if possible. We had been with the previous supplier that was bought out by Amerigas with no problems. Needed to close account due to sale of our home. Found out no physical offices anymore and no local presence. All close out instructions for us and new buyers over the phone. Was told they would read meter, refund us at last purchase price and charge new owner at going rate and that new owner needed to set up account ASAP. I was given a service reference # for that. I’ve dealt with everything online since the switch. I was not aware of how much whatever change was made would impact my experience with this company, but it has. I called customer service 4 times, lied to each time about what I could do- and even told that I need to fill my tank earlier (there’s a 200 gallon minimum purchase and I’ve always filled my tank at the same time of year). I was treating as animal in the streets about an order that & service I paid for! The delivery guy never called when showing up to my residence. i was treating so wrong for the entire staff. My order was canceled due to poor communications skills from non speaking drivers that got frustrating bc I can’t understand a word he way saying. stage 4 breast cancer & the dtress of going through tgis for over a month now has taking a toll on my body!

If I could give zero stars I would. This Company is absolutely TERRIBLE. I used to be able to speak to someone locally and now I have to speak to someone across the country or someone who barley speaks English. I spoke to someone different every single day this week and every person I spoke to gave me a different answer to my problem that by the way was never fixed. Avoid this company if you can!
