I have not been able to talk to anyone in the local office for several months. I understand that the COVID-19 hysteria is causing some difficulties but 2 months is a bit much. Currently I've been on hold listening to bad music for 1 hr and 23 minutes.

Terrible, unreliable service. I have been waiting 3 weeks for my tank to be refilled. We seem to go through this every winter with Amerigas

Is this company still in business? Any number I call gets a voice-mail. Customer service is non existent. If I could give them less than one star I would. Do yourself a favor, dont do business with them.

Apparently there are many unhappy Amerigas customers, and now we're joining the chorus. We've had an account with Amerigas for over 5 years and have been completely unable to reach anyone at the Colchester (CT) Amerigas hub by phone or by using their online contact system. I have contacted Better Business Bureau just now for help. They shared with me Amerigas' King of Prussia, PA corporate headquarters phone number. Their customer service is awful. They bought out our local provider and there is no way to reach someone to address a problem. Today I spent 45 minutes online to resolve a billing problem before the rep informed me that she couldn't do so online and I needed to call. The messages from the online tool always said that I was next in line. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone calling the number the rep gave me before being transferred to a rep and then being disconnected.

This is the absolute worst company I’ve had to deal with in my entire life. I have been trying to get my money back from them since February of 2020. I keep getting the runaround and saying that they are working on it as fast as they can yet nothing has been done. I have been on the phone about five times trying to get this resolved after hours on the phone and here I am still out of pocket. This company has gone downhill over the past year. They run a rag tag operation with no REAL customer service. I had a new tank hooked up a few moths ago and there was only 25% capacity. i was told I would get a delivery. I didn't get one. The policy that the associate whom I got on the phone told me that I needed to pay $300 for an emergency delivery, I spoke to three other associates, same story. The company has essentially abandoned my wife and I for almost 3 weeks, out of propane on 3 occasions. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS GAS LEAK FINALLY FIXED AFTER 2 WEEKS AND NUMEROUS CALLS. We are elderly, one with cancer, one with arthritis, both over 65. No heat, no hot water, no stove. It is winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO SERVICE, JUST LIES ABOUT WHEN WE WILL GET SOME GAS. I have never been treated this badly by anyone.
