Please do not use this company and save yourself the headache. I have ordered from Amerigas three times since moving into my house in April 2020. Once in April, October, and December and each time they either deliver on the last business day because I kept calling or they miss their delivery window. Everyone I speak to seems to have a different answer as to what is going on. I am thoroughly disappointed with this company. I placed an order on 12/28 and was told a delivery date of 1/1-1/11. Thursday 1/7 we run out of propane. My husband called and was told it would be between 24-48 hours and someone would deliver. Saturday 1/9, 48 hours, came along and still no delivery. Called that afternoon and was told they would place an emergency delivery to fill our tank. Couple hours later and no one showed up. Woke up Monday, 1/11/21 to the house being 54 degrees. My 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old woke up at 5am screaming because of how cold they were. My son's hands were freezing and purple. After a couple hours of warming the kids up, and after realizing we were completely out of propane (even though we're on the auto-refill program), I had to get space heaters just to keep us a little warm, which cost an arm and a leg not to mention the amount of times these shorted out the fuses and once the whole entire house fuse. Worst service ever, I placed an order on the second of December and I was told it take two weeks to deliver. But it took a month, the I called to have an inspection and they won’t answer the phone.

AmeriGas' driver hit my daughter's vehicle and they refuse to accept liability to pay the damage. This has been outstanding since Sept 2020 and their insurance mangagment Helmsman Mangagement has failed to resolve the matter. Per the police report their driver was totally in fault and yet they are refusing to resolve this matter.

This large greedy company boghtt our local propane company. The local company had adequate drivers and delivery was never an issue. Companies like this use covoid to close local offices so now there is no office staff To see in person , calls are routed to supposedly Ohio call center. I placed my order December 18th With a by Jan 1st delivery date. Well that came and went with no delivery. Wish we could rate 0 stars. Just like everyone else, we are out of propane, have two little kids, live in the mountains so it’s very cold out now. We’ve been calling the amerigas office every day and each day we were told the delivery was coming. This is so disappointing. I can’t believe they’d treat their customers this way. Such bad business. This will be our last time using them.

I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. They really are worthless and they let consumers run out so they can charge you an extra $111.00 for running out ......really we call order and 2 weeks later have to call back cause they don't deliver and we get penalties worst part I seen a truck in my area twice in that 2 weeks. They do that to rip the customer off. Think about all the money they make in a month if they do this to all customers

Awful company. The employees are rude and untrained. I paid almost $900 and then they charged me an additional $371 and overdrafted my bank account. Then told me there was nothing they could do. I did not authorize this payment. I also did NOT authorize an online account being created or the representative changing my bill to auto pay. The one agent I had tried to say I was always on auto pay, but I have bills proving the contrary.
