Good hotel if visiting Hawick. Check the map to find it, it's not on the actual road that Google thinks it is. Good breakfast and room large and in reasonable condition. En-suite could be better, limited space for toiletries and shower noisy enough to rouse the dead (room 7). If visiting Hawick again I would go back.
2 negatives..no iron or board in lodge..no info in room regarding hotel facilities I.e breakfast/meal times ect. But what a beautiful place..from the lodge to the hotel..spotless.great staff and owners.food excellent..couldn't ask for a better stay..wanted to steal the mattress.. lush gardens.already booked up for next year..thanks guys
