We had such a wonderful time at Avona Escapes! The owners were so welcoming, and the site and facilities were spotless. Pete was absolutely lovely and having alpacas, ducks, and peacocks roaming around was such a beautiful touch! He even took us to see the meerkats and wallabies, which was a real highlight! The scenery is beautiful, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the cloud. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for such a fantastic stay and experience! 😁
Wonderful campsite. Really friendly host and manager, lots of space didn’t feel like we were on top of everyone. Toilets were clean, drinking water and dish washing facilities. Lots of animals around which was lovely and a fantastic view!
We booked it cos of ideal location and it was amazing. Alpacas 🦙 were fine and peacocks woke up B4 us. Field was simple and tent up and done. The bikers were pleasant and always helpful with gate as we left. Little black cat welcomed us home at night. Didn't need showers/toilets cos we had Porta-Potti and our friends/family lived nearby. Well worth visiting Little Moreton Hall nearby. All AMAZING all-round!!!!
Honestly one of the best experiences ever. Its been a while since I went camping and had the best time with my partner and friends not only the views were gorgoues but the worker is lovely.
Stayed 2 nights in July 2025. Bike friendly. Great campsite. Top of a hill. Graham and Pete really friendly. Lamas and Peacocks roam free. Free, hot showers. What's not to like. Can get campers up the steep drive but think a caravan would struggle with hairpin bends. Congleton weatherspoons 10 mins away for a cheeky breakfast. Will go back.
