So we check in at 11am, got an early check in and ordered a roll away bed. our room smells like mold, to find out the ac is leaking and soaked the carpet. We had to request another room. (They didnt offer one and rushed us out to have the room for someone else) we end up in a new room with a broken tv, and had 3 "engineers" try to fix. I call to find out where our roll awat bed is and they said they dont have one and sold out. "Are you kidding me? I checked in at 11" , front desk was basically oh well. Front desk..rude, rooms need to be cleaned, towels need to be checked b4 being put in the rooms, blood stains on the shower curtains! And I paid $110 for a Thursday night!!

I love the pool and beach area! Family friendly for sure. We usually do a yearly vacation of 50+ family members so this was our first time staying at the Avi since we usually stay at the Colorado Belle. Front desk people are really rude and unhelpful. I asked for recommendations since this is our first stay here. The front desk person looked annoyed and just said "we have a food court". Also when I asked a different front desk person what the fitness centers hours, she replied she wasn't sure and didn't bother to find out. T... read more

1. Bad Front desk service. Very rude. 2.No ice in the vending machines. Most of them were out of order. 3.Very dirty pool area the river seemed cleaner. Empty cups and bottles every where. 4. The room was dirty. One of the lamps had a huge stain and so it did the carpet. Dust all over the furniture. Overall very disapointing. I feel like if I stayed in a motel instead of a hotel and resort. At this point I need a vacation from that vacation. What a waste of time and money.

Great beach, good restaurants, wonderful theater and kids' club! Rooms were not quite clean and the housekeepers asked us each day IF we wanted service that day....of course we want our beds made, fresh towels, and room cleaned! The only real downer was the sink water smelled horrible so we used bottled water we had brought instead of the tap water. We will go back for the convenience of having everything in one place. We use to go all the time when the kids were little and loved it, but we just checked out today and I was not pleased this trip. Sunday Only 1 poor young girl was tending to the pool area, which was trashed with empty drink cups all over the place, kids jumping off of the water falls. Mon our room was NOT made up. I called housekeeping and told them, she said " oh you want it cleaned? Ok we will be there." No one ever did show up....there were NO towels available at the pool. My stay was great. I am highly disappointed with check out services. There was only 2 people working the front desk. I was given my receipt for $382.47, when I checked my back account they charged me an additional $100.00. I call the hotel and was put on hold for 1 hour. I called again and asked to speak with a manager. She stated "I am the manager and I have a customer so you will have to wait," even when I told that I have already been on hold for an hour.
