I normally don't give negative reviews but I need the owner to be aware. Came for the scones and had high expectations of them because of the raving reviews and them listing that the scones are served with clotted cream. Compared to the photo I see on the reviews, they look vastly different (my fault for referring to one from 2 years ago). Taste wise is acceptable BUT they do not serve with clotted cream and they kept quiet about it. Even said they need to charge if I want more cream. Best scones in Singapore in my humble opinion. I love coming here to catch up with friends and family. Cozy afternoon tea spot in my favourite mall. Service staff are lovely and their coffee smells amazing. Highly recommend their scones, must order.
I made a booking for lunch today for my friends and received a confirmation. We purposely booked the restaurant because of the reputation for their scones. We arrived to find the restaurant was closed for renovations and had to go to another restaurant. Obviously missed out on the scones. Please update your business account and shut down reservations til you are reopen. It was really embarrassing.
