Prachtig moetasgebied met heel wat biodiversiteit. Alleen erg jammer dat je een heel eind langs de gevaarlijke straat moet wandelen om de ingangen tot het natuurgebied te bereiken.
This is a useful centre surrounded by marshland nature reserves. It provides Toilets, good refreshments and an excellent cross section of Somerset Crafts. The day we visited it was hosting a Festival of Peat which was very enjoyable and informative. For me the most exciting and interesting feature was the Avalon Archaeology Centre A brilliant interpretation display with carefully reconstructed Iron age Roundhouse, Saxon Long house and Roman Villa and also some really interesting films about the history of the Marshes. Friendly staff in Craft Centre and the Cafe, but there were no volunteers available in the information centre and there were no leaflets of the Bittern Trail. The History center looks really good but is only manned on certain days.
