Had my first service very professional and (I) brought into the dealership my own part. I was not able to install it myself because of the airbag, with no prior request to this appointment they also with a 1.8 shop time installed the part. I'm sure this put the service schedule a little off with the one service mechanic.. sometimes the customer throws in an unexpected obstacle to the dealership which throws other customers a little extra waiting time what should I apologize for... All I needed was a check engine diagnostic. It took 1 hour and 31 minutes exactly (checked my receipt). I was told it would cost $125 when I arrived, but that wasn't disclosed when I made the appointment. When the job was finally completed, there were additional fees I wasn't told about making the bill $147.25. The diagnostic reflected the same problem found by O'Reilly auto parts, whose diagnostic took minutes and was free. Time for my van's 65,000 mile checkup so I made an appointment with AutoNation Toyota Spokane Valley. The service rep, David Merkle, was new to me and he was awesome! Everything checked out, van is in perfect shape and I was on my way!!
